ORBIT has been a well known brand of hose clips in world markets for more than 50 years.

It was established in the UK in the 1960s and since then has been well known for its reliability and high quality. The name “ORBIT” was originally inspired by Sputnik, the world's first artificial satellite which was put into earths' orbit in 1957. At that time, ORBIT was among the very few manufacturers in the world who made hose clips.

When the business started, ORBIT hose clips were sold only in the domestic UK market. It did not take long, however, before ORBIT hose clips were widely accepted in the UK, due to their high quality, and their market share expanded rapidly. During the 1970s the UK underwent several economic downturns which resulted in many businesses being forced to close. In 1985, in order to maintain its competitiveness, all of the manufacturing facilities of ORBIT were relocated to Bangkok, Thailand and Orbit International Corporation Ltd was founded. Even though ORBIT was no longer UK based, the new production facility in Thailand continued to produce products of the same extremely high standard as were previously made in the UK. Additionally by relocating to Thailand, ORBIT was able to produce hose clips more competitively. From the new Bangkok base, Orbit was able to continue servicing existing customers in Europe and furthermore develop new markets throughout the ASEAN region and subsequently, the World.

Today, “ORBIT” becomes a common name for hose clips, and ORBIT hose clips are widely exported to many countries on various continents and are accepted as a competitive, high quality product. Our main customers are in UK, Sweden, U.A.E., Hong Kong and Japan. ORBIT hose clips are accepted and distributed to various industries including hardware, tooling, agricultural, automotive, and marine.

Even though ORBIT is a well established brand for more than 50 years, we still aim to strengthen our brand and to establish ourselves as one of the most reliable hose clip manufacturers to British Standard. We routinely participate in major international and domestic hardware exhibitions including the Practical World in Koeln, the BIG5 in Dubai and the Metalex in Thailand.
